Today, PM Modi inaugurated Arunachal Pradesh’s first greenfield airport, Donyi Polo Airport, in Itanagar’s Hollongi. He also inaugurated a 600-MW Kameng hydropower station in West Kameng district. The foundation stone for the airport was laid by PM Modi in February 2019. State governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra said the airport will provide easy travelling facilities for investors and in medical emergencies, besides, facilitating students studying in other states and travellers.
